Is there a room block? Where should I stay?
We have reserved a limited number of guestrooms at Crystal Springs Resort for our wedding. As rooms are expected to book quickly, we encourage you to make your reservations ASAP. Is there a deadline for the room block?
The room block cutoff date is 45 days before the wedding, on 5/7/25. After that, rooms will be charged at full price, and it's likely they may sell out before then. Please book as soon as possible. If your plans change and you are no longer able to attend, rooms are fully refundable if canceled at least 7 days before check-in.
What should I wear?
The dress code is black tie optional. We ask that men wear a dark suit and tie, or tuxedo. Women can wear an evening gown or midi/knee-length cocktail dress. Women are welcome to wear any color other than those traditionally reserved for the bride, bridesmaids will be in green.
Should I bring a bathing suit for the afterparty?
Yes! All guests are welcome to use the pool and waterslide and we will surly be in it! Guests staying at the Grand Cascades Lodge can return to their rooms to change, guest coming from the Minerals Hotel should bring a change of clothes with them to the reception (shuttle will not go back and forth in between). You can leave your bag at coat check and use the locker room at the pool to change.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony starts at 2:30 and seating opens by 2. Space is limited so please arrive early if you wish to attend. Many of the roads and highways in the area are one lane and winding. Please allow extra time to drive safely.
What should we do between the ceremony and reception?
There will be a few hours in between the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour, this would be a great time to check into the hotel and make the most of their amenities. Crystal Springs offers many activities from ping pong tables and hatchet throwing to driving ranges and wine tastings.
How do I get to Crystal Springs?
Crystal Springs Resort is accessible only by car and does not have public transportation options. Many of the roads/highways in the area are one lane and winding, please build in time to drive safely. Also note that there aren't many Ubers in the area, so please do not rely on them for transportation to and from the wedding events.
Newark Airport (EWR) is the nearest airport for those flying in. Thank you so much for traveling to be with us. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Is there parking?
Yes, there is at parking lot with free parking at both the church and reception space. Guests parking for the reception should enter through the golf entrance to the left of the main hotel entrance.
What transportation will be provided at the wedding?
All guests staying at Grand Cascades Lodge can walk indoors to the cocktail hour, reception, and after-party spaces.

A shuttle bus will be provided to the Minerals Hotel from Grand Cascades Lodge before and after the reception. Times and details will be shared closer to the event.
No transportation will be provided to and from the church.
If you are not staying at Minerals Hotel or Grand Cascades Lodge, please note that Ubers can be sparse or unavailable in the area. Please make sure to prearrange your travel plans. We love each of you dearly and want to ensure you have fun and stay safe!
What is there to do in the area?
Crystal Springs offers many activities, from ping pong tables and pickleball to driving ranges and wine tastings. The hotels also have several bars and restaurants, a spa, and pools. Many of these amenities are included with your stay. You can explore them further here.

In addition, the surrounding area has several restaurants and stores, including both major retailers and local businesses.
Are children invited?
While we love your children our events will be adults only.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Unfortunately, due to venue capacity we can only welcome the guests who were included on your invitation.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors. If the weather permits an outdoor deck and patio will be accessible during cocktail hour.
